Valentino Collection Inspired Of Mystical Blue

A legendary signature which has known Valentino of its sinful red is no more. From today onwards it is going to be a more poised and graceful collection for the house and will be known for the mystical blue color.

The recent change was from an inspiration gathered of Madonna painting s by Giotto. Valentino's show last July 4 for its 2012 couture collection in Paris showed off a demure and saintly look for its mood as the models walk the runway.

Pulled back hair, floor length evening dress and fluid extended capes made the models look so ardent. Designers Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri created the collection.

At the Paris mansion where the show was held at Hotel de Rothschild Piccioli mentions, "We wanted to give women a more sacred image, a message of universal respect,"

The collection was created using chiffon plisse, hyper embroidered mousseline and frequently dissected with semi-sheer panels but was never too tight just so basically a touch of feminity.

This show will be remembered of its washed out indigo wooden catwalk, though with elegant embroidery and artful grace it still showed off the boosted family color of blue - azure, cerulean, sapphire and navy.
